Industrial Vision & Simulation (InViSim) was founded in September 2024 as a sole proprietorship specializing in machine vision consulting and computer vision solutions. Our core business centers on developing custom analytical and AI-based computer vision software for production and logistics industries, as well as research institutions. Unlike traditional computer vision providers, InViSim enhances solutions by incorporating artificially generated, photorealistic images that simulate real-world scenarios. This approach improves algorithmic recognition capabilities and accelerates development, enabling faster readiness for production. Through high-end visualization techniques, our products and solutions are demonstrated throughout the development process, offering a clear understanding of project status and helping identify potential issues at an earlier stage.

My Name is Andreas Scholz, Founder of InViSim. I can look back on more than 20 years of Experience and Education in computer science and visual effects for industry and research, and way more in life experience. After my study of multimedia and digital animation in 2004, I started my first intrepreneurship with productions of 3d computer visualizations and webapplications. After another study of computer science in Aachen 2015, I relocated to Switzerland and started as research assistent at the institute of engineering informatics at the University of Applied Sciences NTB. I later changed to the institute of microtechnique and photonics of the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland, where I was assigned as research assistent to the machine vision group. Here, I developed the novel approach of using computer simulation in several projcts, which led to the outsourcing and founding of InVISim.
